ひかり Light
出来上がりがここまでまん丸だと
完成したときの嬉しさも
一入（ひとしお）になりますね。
It is even more satisfactory
when it's made, because
it's sooooo round!

「のぞみ」の基本形を作ってから
更に一折り加えたこのバリエーションは
All you have to do is
adding one more fold after
making the same 3 units as in
'Hope' kusudama instruction.
まるでレース編みのようなシルエットで
紙と思えない質感になります。
Don't you think it also look like
knitted lace design?
It hardly seems like
a paper-made ornament.
「ひかり」は新幹線からとった
名前でもあるので、
色は新幹線ブルーにしました。
（オーソドックスに100系で）
The name 'Hikari' actually
came across my mind
from the model name of
Japanese bullet train.
So that I chose light blue
to make the tutorial video.
(JR 100-kei model is in light blue.)
暗い気持ちになりがちな
昨今のコロナ異常事態の中で
心の光を持ち続けるべく、
Everyone tends to feel down
and negative (dark)
now-a-days because of Covid-19,
but we all should believe in
the 'light' is there
on the other side of the tunnel.
そんな熱い願いも込めての
命名です。
Let's believe in the:
「ひかり」。
