青い鳥 Blue Bird

「鳥の羽根をイメージさせるフォルム」
ということは、
分かって貰えると思うのです。

I guess that you can tell that

it reminds us of

'bird feathers'.

このフォルムですから
赤い色目の紙で作ったら「火の鳥」
とか「不死鳥」？

With the same body,

if we use red colour instead,

it might look like 'fire bird'?

or 'phenix', maybe??

はたまた
豪華に金色を使ってみたら「鳳凰」？？
とでも
呼びたくなるんでしょうねきっと。

（苦笑）

Or by using real authentic Japanese,

and call we might call it

'hou-ou (= phenix)'

でもそんな大それた名前は
つけたくなかったんです。

No no.

That's a bit too serious.

それよりも幸せを運んでくれるという
「青い鳥」の方が
今の世の中にはふさわしい。

Rather than those,

I wanted to name it

'Blue Bird' because

they bring happiness to people.

作り方は割と簡単。
最後にひし形（のうような形）にする
というところがミソです。

Steps to make one is

pretty simple.

Give one more fold to each flap

that's the unique part

of this design.

最後の最後
外向きに１箇所ずつ折っていくのは
少し地道な作業かもしれませんが、

To make sure each 'feather'

will be perfectly diamond in shape

would be a challenge.

じっくりと真っ直ぐ
そして均等に折っていけば、

I guarantee though:

if you fold constantly and patiently,

最期にはこんな神々しい（？）
シルエットが作れます。

the finished work will

make you really
